VAN OORD
The Deutsche Bucht offshore wind farm is located in the German Bight, 95 kilometers northwest of the island of Borkum.
The offshore wind farm will consist of 31x 8 MW wind turbines and will have a rated power of 252 MW. Enough to provide more than 178,000 homes annually with sustainable energy.
VO scope: design, engineering, procurement, construction and installation of the foundations, inter array cables and offshore high voltage station OHVS and the transportation of the wind turbines.
FT scope: QA/QC and reporting (welding/coating/NDT) on jacket and OHVS, mono piles, Transition pieces, airtight platforms, boat landings, access platforms and fabrication offshore Inter-array cables. Project Coordination, QA/QC and reporting on fabrication of Mono buckets
Location: HQ van Oord Gorinchem, the Netherlands and various contractors/suppliers in Spain, Germany, UK and Northern Ireland
