This unit is an integrated coating engineering and coating inspection department within Fasttrek, providing engineering solutions and inspections to increase the quality of the coating work and mitigate the risks of corrosion by verifying the quality and longevity of protective coating systems.
Fasttrek paint inspection experiences includes work both on- and offshore on all types of steel structures, pressure vessels, storage tanks, process piping and related equipment, pipelines, cargo vessels, FPSO’s, production facilities, plants, wind farms, as well as civil and commercial infrastructure such as bridges, steel constructions and buildings.
Our engineers are able to support your project with project specific coating documentation and services such as developing technical specifications and procedures, prepare inspection and test plans, set up material and personnel qualification tests, set up PQT’s (procedure qualification trials) and PPT’s (pre-production trials), specialist support, review of quotations, budgeting, planning, prepare and coordinate procedure qualifications, supplier audits, procurement support and reporting.
We only offer you experience professional engineers and NACE/FROSIO (incl. Level 3) coating inspectors, which some of them are also Irata (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) certified to enable inspections and survey work at heights. We gained our expertise’s across various industries, such as Oil and Gas, Marine, Petro-chemical and Energy.
Standards related to high performance long term/guarantee corrosion protection systems e.g.; ISO 12944/1-8, ISO14918 & ANSI/AWS c2.16, DNV RP F102/106, ISO 21809/1-5 are well known throughout our coating department. We are also familiar with pipeline and field joint coating, metallizing method’s, hot dip galvanizing, fire protection and insulation paints.
